The City offers a variety of parking permits to support community needs. Applications may be submitted in advance by email to medadmin@yellowknife.ca, or picked up in person at the Municipal Enforcement Division on the lower level at City Hall.

  • Parking Meter Exemption – 1 & 2 Hour Meters

    Fee: $40/month or $400/year; for the duration of the meter only.

  • Parking Meter Exemption – 9 Hour Meters

    Fee: $126/month or $1,048/year.

  • 50/50 Lot Parking Permit

    Allows parking at the City-owned 50/50 Lot. 

    Fee: $126/month.

  • Loading Zone Permit

    For delivery and commercial vehicles with a legitimate need to park in loading zones. Fee: $10.50/month or $126/year.
