All Penalty Notices (Parking Tickets) issued are pursuant to the Parking By-law No. 5053.
Penalty Notices are issued to the registered owner of a vehicle who is liable to pay the penalty and has the option of an early payment discount. This discount is valid for 14 calendar days from the date of issue of the notice.
If no action is taken on the Penalty Notice within 30 days of issue, the City will issue a Final Notice to anyone who has not responded to a Penalty Notice by either paying the penalty or requesting a review.
A person to whom a final notice is delivered may, within 30 days after delivery, pay the administrative penalty set out in the final notice or request a review by a screening officer.
