An approved water meter with an approved remote reading device must be installed on every water service pipe, unless otherwise authorized by the S.A.O.
The City of Yellowknife must be given access to your water meter upon proper notice. If access to your home is needed, we will try to contact you by telephone. If no contact is made, you will also be notified by a letter for you to arrange an appointment.
Please note: Water service may be disconnected until meter maintenance can occur in the event access to your water meter be denied or attempts to contact you not result in a scheduled appointment.
