  • Collège Nordique

    Collège Nordique is the only accredited French-language post-secondary institution north of the 60th parallel, to develop your language and professional skills, or to pursue your studies in French.

  • Commission Scolaire francophone des Territories du Nord-Ouest (CSFTNO)

    The Commission scolaire francophone des Territoires du Nord-Ouest is the sole representative of French-language education from junior kindergarten to grade 12.

  • Community Learning Network (Education, Culture & Employment)

    CLN specializes in community-driven, project-based, real-life learning and supports both individual and community capacity-building.

  • Dechinta Centre for Research and Learning

    Led by northern experts, Dechinta aims to engage students, researchers and community members in transformative academic programs based on the unique needs of Dene and Inuvialuit communities. Our work is centred on three main pillars: post-secondary accredited programs, research and community engagement.

  • Northwest Territories Montessori Society

    The Society continues to operate two Casa Primary classes at the Yellowknife Montessori School, and in the fall of 2007, a large waiting list prompted the opening of a third Casa classroom, housed at NJ Macpherson, bringing the current number of classes at the two locations to three, with approximately 50 students in attendance. In the fall of 2024, the third Casa classroom moved from NJ Macpherson to École Įtłʼǫ̀.

    The Settlement Worker in Schools (SWIS) provides bilingual school-based adjustment and integration support services for students and their parents who are new to Canada.

  • Yellowknife Catholic Schools

    Yellowknife Catholic Schools is the only faith-based district in the Northwest Territories with a mission to support student learning and well-being from Junior Kindergarten to grade 12.  YCS operates 3 schools and one technical center.

  • Yellowknife Education District No. 1

    Yellowknife Education District No.1 (YK1) is NWT's first education district. Established in 1939, YK1 has provided quality education to Northern students, and today, the district continues to ensure all students receive the best possible educational programs, experiences and opportunities. YK1 operates six schools and provides superintendence services to the nearby First Nations schools of N’dilo and Dettah.
