Back to SearchThe City of Yellowknife invites residents to join us as we ring in 2025 at the annual fireworks display. The show will take place on Tuesday, December 31, 2024 at 8:00 p.m. Residents can enjoy the show from the Somba K’e Civic Plaza, as the fireworks will be set off on Frame Lake.
Please be aware of the following safety reminders:
- If viewing the fireworks near Frame Lake, be sure to avoid the area where the fireworks are being set off. This area is outlined in red on the map located on our website. The sections on the map highlighted in green represent the best spots to safely view the show.
- Residents are asked to stay clear of the fireworks area until noon on Wednesday, January 1, 2025 to allow our crews to complete a safety inspection in the daylight; and
- Please leave pets at home.
