Back to SearchThe City of Yellowknife (the City) wishes to advise the public of fraudulent text messages currently being sent to residents regarding parking tickets.
The City has become aware of text messages sent to residents stating a parking issue is not resolved, with a link that leads to an unknown website. These text messages are not being sent from the City, as information from the City regarding enforcement matters would never be communicated in this manner. Residents are advised not to click links from unknown senders and not provide personal information to sources that may be illegitimate.
The City recommends contacting the Municipal Enforcement Division (MED) with any parking or enforcement questions. To get in touch with MED, call (867) 920-5630, send an email to MEDadmin@yellowknife.ca or visit City Hall.
