36th Annual Bike Rodeo

The City of Yellowknife’s Municipal Enforcement Division (MED) invites families with children from kindergarten to grade six to attend the 36^th Annual Bike Rodeo and barbecue. This free event will take place on Sunday, May 26, 2024, from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Multiplex.

During the Bike Rodeo, kids will be guided through an obstacle course to test their safety skills and will be provided with bike safety information. Those who wish to participate must bring their own bike; free helmets will be given away to those who need one. There will also be face painting and additional giveaways, including two return trips to Edmonton from Canadian North, and a helicopter tour from Great Slave Helicopters!

MED is excited for the return of the Annual Bike Rodeo, since the last Bike Rodeo was held in 2019. The City would like to thank our partners, Helmets for Hardy and the École St. Patrick High School Interact Club, and our sponsors for helping us put on this exciting event.
