This sculpture, created in 2009 by Yellowknife artist Francois Thibault depicts three drum dancers. It is located at the edge of Frame Lake in front of Yellowknife's City Hall.

The City of Yellowknife has launched a new webpage dedicated to the Lift Station #1 Replacement Project. This project represents a significant investment in the City’s wastewater and sewage infrastructure and will help ensure reliable service for residents for decades to come.

The new webpage provides a centralized source of accurate and timely information for the public. It allows residents to stay informed about key project milestones, upcoming work, and any potential impacts to nearby roads or public spaces.

As the project progresses through several stages until 2028, it is important for residents, businesses, and stakeholders to have access to:

  • Current construction updates and timelines
  • Background on the purpose and scope of the project
  • Road or facility access changes
  • Digital renderings of the final site
  • Project funding details

By providing transparent and up-to-date information, the City aims to support public understanding of the project and minimize disruptions wherever possible.
