Community Gathering on Reconciliation
Marie Wilson, former Commissioner of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Canada, facilitated a dialogue on reconciliation that aims to further develop ideas to be considered in the City’s Reconciliation Plan. The event took place in the Copper Room at the Quality Inn (formerly the Yellowknife Inn) from 7:00 - 9:30 p.m. on Thursday, September 12, 2019.

Coffee Breaks
City of Yellowknife representatives invited residents to share their ideas, thoughts and feedback to be considered in the development of the City’s Reconciliation Plan. As a gesture of appreciation and friendship, coffee cards were handed out for residents to enjoy a refreshment from a local café. Coffee Breaks took place on the following dates below:
