The City of Yellowknife (the City) is seeking artists to submit design concepts to be included on street pole banners hanging from poles located along Old Airport Road.
All forms of artwork are being accepted, however the final version of the artwork must be converted to a digital format. The deadline to submit a draft concept is August 4, 2023. The goal is to accommodate up to 10 unique designs.

Pursuant to Section 88 of the Cities, Towns and Villages Act, S.N.W.T. 2003, c.22, notice is hereby given of the intention of the City of Yellowknife to pass a by-law to open and name roads within Phase 2 of the Engle Business District as Eagle Drive (extension) and Goshawk Road.

The City of Yellowknife wishes to advise residents of road closures for the 2023 Rotary Community Parade on Canada Day occurring Saturday, July 1, 2023.
The parade will start at 11:00 a.m. in front of City Hall on Veterans Memorial Drive (49 Avenue), it will then turn right onto 48 Street, and turn right again onto Franklin Avenue (50 Avenue) and continue on Franklin Avenue until it finishes before the Ruth Inch Memorial Pool.
