YKFlex Buses Begin Service

The City of Yellowknife (the City) is pleased to announce that the new YKFlex vehicle fleet officially begins service on Friday, December 6, 2024.

The YKFlex vehicles will replace the previous Yellowknife Accessible Transit System (YATS), and maintain the same specialized transit service YATS offered but with increased comfort and safety. On Saturday, November 23, 2024, community members got into the holiday spirit as they gathered on the streets of Yellowknife to watch the Santa Claus Parade.
