YKFlex Buses Begin Service

The City of Yellowknife (the City) is pleased to announce that the new YKFlex vehicle fleet officially begins service on Friday, December 6, 2024.
The YKFlex vehicles will replace the previous Yellowknife Accessible Transit System (YATS), and maintain the same specialized transit service YATS offered but with increased comfort and safety. Intervention in NTPC General Rate Application

Today, the Town of Hay River and the City of Yellowknife registered as interveners in the Northwest Territories Power Corporation (NTPC) General Rate Application (GRA) with the Public Utilities Board (PUB) for an overall power rate increase of 24.8%.
