Get ready for a fun and educational afternoon at the City of Yellowknife Fire Division's Annual Open House! Join us on Saturday, June 22, 2024, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Fire Hall, located at 100 Taylor Road, for a free BBQ and a chance to meet our local firefighters. Residents will also get an opportunity to explore fire trucks up close, and discover the amazing tools and equipment we use to keep our community safe.

The City of Yellowknife invites residents to get active in ParticipACTION’s Community Challenge, presented by Novo Nordisk, help the City win up to $100,000 to use for community recreation initiatives!

Mayor Rebecca Alty and City Council are pleased to announce Stephen Van Dine has been selected as the City of Yellowknife’s next City Manager. Mr. Van Dine will begin August 6, 2024.
